The instrument is designed for accurate estimation of moisture in various Solid, Liquids or Gas samples. It works on Volumetric Principle.

The incorporation of latest types of highly sensitive IC's in the circuitry in this instrument ensures trouble-free performance with perfect reproducible results with total reliability.

The instrument is having a built in magnetic stirrer with speed controller. The Karl Fischer Reagent is added automatically to the reaction beaker by a highly sensitive motorized dispensing system. This dispensing system eliminates the need of Glass Burette, Piston Type Syringe, and Control Valves, thus greatly minimizing of hazardous and corrosive Karl Fischer Reagent. The dispensing makes the instrument very easy for day to day maintenance.

The K/F Reagent added is volumetrically displayed on the digital readout with 0.01-ml readability. The moisture in the sample can be calculated in terms of PPM or Percentage using standard formula.

This instrument is an advanced version of MODEL LI/MATIC-MD having compatibility with PC to store all the data of the sample under test. Suitable software, supplied with the instrument, enables to accept the data through the serial port of the PC.

The software, available on the CD, can be installed on the PC and then the data can be transferred from the instrument to the PC. On pressing the result key, the result in terms of Percentage & PPM is displayed on the instrument. At the same time all relevant data like Sample Quantity, Density, Percentage, PPM is transferred to the PC through the Serial Communication Port.

The data stored in the PC can not be altered. A Search command is useful to access the data Batch wise and Date wise. Also one can create the Report of the daily testing using Report facility.

This facility minimizes lot of paper work and maintaining the records in different files. Also data can be retrieved as and when required using Search command.

The equipment is assembled in a mild steel cabinet, which is painted with special chemical resistant Epoxy Paints. It incorporates a built-in magnetic stirrer with electronic regulator and switch.

The Solid State Electronic Circuitry incorporating some latest types of IC's ensures trouble-free operations and guaranteed reproducible results. A special feature of this instrument is that it is equipped with a highly sensitive automatic illuminated display indicator marked as `Excess K/F & Excess H2O', for clear indications of the `End Point'. The instrument works on 230 Volts, 50 Hz AC mains supply.

The instrument is designed to carry out Karl Fischer Titration automatically for accurate determination of moisture in various samples. The equipment consists of a fully Solid State Circuit with incorporation of advanced highly sensitive IC's, a built-in magnetic stirrer with regulator and allied components.

For operation, the titration is started just by pressing the `START' push button. The KF Reagent is then automatically added from the burette through a solenoid valve resetting the built in electronic timer with each addition. When the `End Point' is reached, the titration is stopped automatically and the Red lamp is `ON'. The built-in timer selects only the correct `End Points' rejecting all the in between false indications. The timer can be adjusted in range 0 to 180 seconds, whenever required.

The automatic operation of the titrator completely eliminates human errors and incorporation of highly sensitive IC's ensures perfectly reproducible accurate results. The equipment works on 230 Volts 50 Hz, mains supply and has its own built-in stabilizer to overcome mains voltage fluctuations. The equipment is supplied as under:

The instrument works on Coulometric Principle. Water is titrated by electrolytic generation of KF Reagent within the reaction vessel. It is equipped with a generator which generates the KF Reagent in the titration cell itself to react with the moisture present in the sample. The main unit of the equipment consists of a built-in magnetic stirrer, necessary controls and a microprocessor based circuitry of advanced type with feather touch membrane key pad.

The result displayed indicates the exact moisture in the sample alone, eliminating the effects due to Ambient Humidity, Parastic Reactions, Inherent `Drift' of the circuitry etc. The `End-Point' of the titration is indicated by a note of an audio alarm.
