LI8003 PRECISION ROTARY MICROTOME |

equipment designed for precise sectioning of tissues upto 1 micron
thickness.It has a front located feed indicator with cam drive
system for accurate feed setting from 1 to 50 microns in steps of
1 micron each.Prominent features include independent feed mechanism
with automatic safety device,universal knife holder with lateral
movement to permit use of entire knife edge,ball and flange type
object holder for accurate centering of the specimen and full swing
protective cover for easier cleaning and lubrication.The equipment

LI8027 POTOMETER SIMPLE

For investigating transpiration and water absorption by cut shoots. The apparatus comprises a glass cylinder stoppered at both ends, through the lower end of which is inserted a length of capillary tubing graduated in millimeters, the other end having a glass tube to which the cut shoot is attached by rubber tubing. A 2ml. syringe is provided for adjusting the air bubble position during setting up. Overall length approx. 390mm. Capillary bore 1mm.

LI8028 POTOMETER, GANONG'S |
For demonstration of transpiration rates and rates of water absorption by a cut shoot under various external conditions. A plant shoot is sealed into a stopper which fits the end tube, and the whole apparatus is filled with water, the open end of the capillary tube, which is graduated in millimeter, dipping into a beaker of water. The position of the air bubble may easily be adjusted by opening the glass stopcock to admit water from the central reservior. The whole apparatus is mounted on a varnished wooden base by spring clips.

Consisting of glass tubing 15mm external diameter with sidearm leading to a thistle funnel and tapered at each end, one end to accept the plant stem, the other to meet capillary tubing mounted against a 250mm graduated rule. Apparatus is mounted by Terry clips on to a strong L-shaped stand with rubber feet. Dimensions 305 x 150 x 175mm length x width x height. Capillary bore 1mm.
