Operation
Seeds/Grains are fed into a feed hopper
where they are evenly distributed by a feed roller and
drop through a controlled gate on the top sieve. Before
falling on Top Screen, grains are subjected to primary
aspiration which drains off chaff, straw, dust, deceased
grains etc. Material is then passed through two sieve
layer for separation according to width and thickness.
After passing through screens, cleaned/graded material
again passes through air sifter and aspiration where
remaining light particles are sucked off by a strong
upward draught of air. After size grading, material
passes through Indented Cylinder grader for removing
impurities based on length. Final product and impurities
are collected separately through discharge chutes.

|

Salient Features
All steel construction. Low level
feeding hopper, hence no need of feeding elevator.
Aspirator fan is dynamically balanced. Machine is
equipped with built-in cyclone dust collectors. Air
aspiration is provided with stepless variable air
control arrangement for removal of lighter impurities
like dust, chaff, husk, diseased seeds, small weed seed
etc. Air chamber is self cleaning type. Clean seed
discharge spout is in the centre of the machine. Sieve
deck assembly is self cleaning type to avoid admixtures
during cleaning. All spouts are fitted with bag holding
clamps at bagging height and are self cleaning type. All
shafts are made of high grade material and are mounted
on pillow/flange type self aligned ball bearings with
built-in casing. The machine is pre-wired from electric
motors to the control panel to a single connection for
the incoming power supply. The unit is supplied complete
in all respect including electric motors, one set of
screen (for any particular crop seed), built-in cyclone
dust collectors.

Salient Features
The machine is mounted on a table
and whole unit is portable. Feeding hopper is
provided with a feed control gate to regulate the
feeding rate. Specially designed rubber balls have
been provided to check the clogging of screens
perforations. Blower fan is dynamically balanced.
Both the air separations are independently
controlled in a wide range to achieve the desired
grading quality. The machine is equipped with a
unique feature which is used for thorough cleaning
of the whole machine with the help of in-built air
blast system to avoid any chance of varietal as
well as inter crop mixing. Cyclone dust collector

INDENTED CYLINDER SEED GRADER

Salient Features
All metal construction. Quick
interchangeable type indent segments. Noted for
high precision grading capability. Long service
life and easy maintenance. Variable rotational
speed of cylinder.
Operation
The material enters the machine
through the feeding device directly into the
centre of the rotating cylinder. The shorter
than required size particles lodge in the
indents and are lifted by the cylinder until
they fall out under gravitational force into the
internal trough. Large particles not deposited
in the indents are retained on the inside
surface of the cylinder. Due to rotating speed
and inclination of cylinder, long grains are
discharged out and rejects comprising of cut
grains, small round grains and other crop seeds
etc. are discharged out seperately via auger or
vibrating device fitted with trough.
